The NextCloud SMS application allows you to synchronize your SMS messages on a remote NextCloud instance and thus to be able to read them.
It is planned to add support for sending SMS from the NextCloud instance in a future update, allowing you to send SMS from anywhere in the world, leaving your Android phone within range of a DATA and GSM access
